- Cepsa professionals and their relatives, together with people living with mental disabilities from APADIS Bahía de Algeciras took part in the maintenance of the organic vegetable garden of Centro Ocupacional y de Formación El Real in Algeciras.
- Participants fastered awareness of the importance of APADIS Bahía de Algeciras in the Campo de Gibraltar area and contributed to the center's conservation.
- Fundación Cepsa has joined the celebrati on of World Environment Day in Campo de Gibraltar, with a volunteer activity carried out at the APADIS Bahía de Algeciras Centro Ocupacional y de Formación El Real.
12 Cepsa volunteers, trained by employees and relatives, collaborated in the planting of t rees and the maintenance of the company's organic vegetable garden; all of this with the help of 13 users of the "Asociación de padres de personas con discapacidad intelectual APADIS Bahía de Algeciras” ( Association of parents of people with intellectual disabilities APADIS Bahía de Algeciras ). Furthermore, volunteers were able to get acquainted with the center and the work carried out there, at the hand of professionals of APADIS and the protagonists themselves, people with intellectual disabilities.
Fundación Cepsa has decided to participate in the celebration of the World Environment Day with its Corporate Volunteer Program, Voluntas , with which it standardizes its corporate volunteer activities in countries where it has significant presence, while at t he same time encouraging and honoring the commitment to solidarity of its professionals, and strengthening the activities it organizes.
Social action of Fundación Cepsa
- Fundación Cepsa is in charge of channeling the company's social action in the shape of activities focused on the social needs of the communities and towns where Cepsa carries out its activities. Corporate volunteering is one of the Fundación Cepsa's key areas, and throughout the year, it has an intensive program of social and charitable ac tivities, such as food, clothing and footwear donation, as well as blood donation.
