Fundación Cepsa reopens the registration period for the Social Value Awards, which recognize and promote different social projects that promote the inclusion and improving the quality of life of less favored people or groups.
These awards will distribute up to €400,000 to the social projects that are chosen as the winners from among all the entries submitted in Campo de Gibraltar, the Canaries, Madrid, province of Huelva, Portugal, Colombia and Brazil.
After 15 years calling for these awards, Teresa Mañueco, general director at Fundación Cepsa, said: “This is the flagship of our social action. We are proud that these awards have become a reference for integration and collaboration between Cepsa professionals, social entities and the Foundation. Every year the entities present more innovative projects and on our side we work to incorporate improvements and increase awareness of the awards to a greater number of entities”.
Initiatives may be presented from September 10 until October 3, 2019 by completing a registration form, available on the Foundation’s website: www.fundacioncepsa.com.
The decision of the jury, composed of authorities and institutional representatives working in the field of social action as well as members of Fundación Cepsa, will be announced in November.
The Social Value Awards recognize and promote social projects that foster the inclusion and well-being of several collectives in a situation of social vulnerability: people with diseases, unemployed, people with physical or intellectual disabilities, ethnic minorities, children, young people and adolescents, the elderly, minors or victims of gender-based violence, among others.
