Fundación Cepsa and the City Council of La Línea de la Concepción (Cádiz) have signed a collaboration agreement by which the entity shows its “firm support” for sports and cultural initiatives promoted in the town.
The director of the San Roque de Cepsa Gibraltar Refinery and representative of the Cepsa Fundación Cepsa in Campo de Gibraltar, Miguel Pérez de la Blanca, and the interim mayor of La Línea de la Concepción, Helenio Lucas Fernández, signed a new collaboration agreement this morning to sponsor various activities promoted by the Departments of Culture, Public Events and Sport in La Línea.
Cepsa Fundación's support will focus on promoting fine art and cultural activities as well as helping to organize basic sports activities of various clubs and sports associations in the municipality.
Fundación Cepsa will also collaborate by handing over the prizes for the children's photography competition, one of the activities organized to celebrate World Environment Day, which is aimed at making young people aware of the importance of taking care of the environment.
The interim mayor of La Línea thanked Fundación Cepsa “for its commitment to this town over the years, formerly as a Company and now as Fundación Cepsa, for playing an active role in many projects not only of the City Council but also of various cultural, social or sports associations”.
The representative of Fundación Cepsa in the region, Miguel Pérez de la Blanca, said that Fundación Cepsa felt very satisfied about supporting cultural and sporting initiatives in a city so close to our facilities where a high percentage of Cepsa employees live.
