- Oil collection containers have already been installed at two points in the capital of Huelva.
- The oil collected will be used for social projects in Peru and Mozambique.
Fundación Cepsa and the Madre Coraje Association have joined forces in Andalusia to develop a collaborative program focused on raising awareness of the importance of recycling household oil.
This week two oil collection containers have been installed in Huelva in the “El Carmen” market and the University Campus on Tres de Marzo Avenue. In addition, both institutions will distribute funnels to facilitate the collection of household oil, as well as an information sheet on the network of deposit containers that Madre Coraje has in the capital of Huelva.
This awareness campaign began in Jerez de la Frontera with the distribution of funnels among the customers of Cepsa service stations in this municipality of Cádiz.
The association explained that the ultimate goal, in addition to raising environmental awareness, is to improve the living conditions of the most impoverished in Peru and Mozambique, where the Madre Coraje Mission is being carried out. With this action, which will soon be increased with a new collection point, Fundación Cepsa and Madre Coraje not only raise awareness of the importance of recycling, but also collaborate in the improvement and protection of our environment.
