- The Fundación Cepsa Chair of UHU opens the application period for the submission of research projects
- Fundación Cepsa will support projects from all disciplines in the field of energy transition and efficiency
The objective of the call is to support new lines research, as well as to promote existing ones, in carrying out projects whose subject matter is related to energy transition and Cepsa’s endeavors. The objective would also be for researchers to use this initial assistance in the near future to help them compete for funding in calls for projects and international industrial doctorates, from the National Plan or the Andalusian Plan for R&D.
In this way, Fundación Cepsa and the University of Huelva, through the Chair, aim to strengthen research teams and support emerging researchers from any discipline whose work deals with the issues of energy transition, sustainability and efficiency.
The grants will award up to ten thousand euros per project, and they will have a duration of twelve months. The Fundación Cepsa Chair is especially interested in multidisciplinary projects with a clear vision for how their research could be applied in the future.
Narciso Rojas, a representative from Fundación Cepsa in Huelva, explains that "the Chair is deeply interested in promoting quality research at our university, and it is not closed to any discipline. These projects may be continued over time if the results of this first year are satisfactory. We are ambitious and believe that there is enough research potential at the University of Huelva to do important things in the fields covered by this call, and that they will end up becoming real contenders at the business and industrial level in the foreseeable future".
The application must be addressed to the Vice Rectorate for Innovation and Employability, Fundación Cepsa Chair, and submitted through UHU's in-person or online registry office, or any of the places provided in art.16.4 of Law 39/2015, on October 1, of the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Applications must also be sent by e-mail to catedra.fcepsa@uhu.es.
